The M.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Society is a postgraduate taught programme covering a broad spectrum of ideas and topics at the intersections between philosophy, politics and society. It delves into the works and theories of a variety of contemporary thinkers, encouraging you to engage actively in analysis and critique informed by different philosophical approaches. The programme also offers you the opportunity to undertake specialized studies guided by an assigned mentor and carry out in-depth research while writing a dissertation on a topic of your choice.

This programme is a unique opportunity to take a dive into how thinking about politics and society helps understand and shape our world. It is open to both philosophy graduates wishing to deepen their knowledge of contemporary social and political thought, and to graduates in another area (e.g. humanities, law, media, political science, social policy, etc.) seeking to add a philosophical dimension to their intellectual formation and professional development.
